Non-Immigrant Visa O visa applicants do not have to carry insurance coverage currently, but they are strongly encouraged to maintain valid insurance for medical reasons throughout their entire stay.
Non-Immigrant Visa O-A visa applicants must carry insurance coverage for the duration of their stay for Outpatient and Inpatient Treatment of no less than 3,000,000 baht. or 100,000 USD.
Non-Immigrant Visa O-X visa applicants must carry insurance coverage for the duration of their stay for outpatient treatment of no less than 40,000 baht and inpatient treatment of no less than 400,000 baht.
A medical certificate is required declaring that you are free from specific diseases, Leprosy, Tuberculosis, drug addiction, Elephantiasis and third phase of Syphilis.
O-X visas are limited to passport holders from specific countries: Japan, Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Canada, and United States
Certified bank statement showing a deposit of at least 800,000 Baht or proof of monthly income of 65,000 Baht held in a bank for no less than twelve months (contact us to learn more)
Letter of guarantee from the Thai bank if submitting bank statement
Must have a bank deposit of no less than 3 million baht in Thailand or a bank deposit of no less than 1.8 million baht and annual income of no less than 1.2 million baht.
All bank documents must be certified, and maintenance of amounts, source, etc. are dependent on everyone.
